Great Lakes announces PG programme in management for family business, entrepreneurship

The application process for the Great Lakes Institute of Management programme for family business and entrepreneurship application process will close on March 10.
NEW DELHI : The Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM) Chennai has launched a post graduate programme in management for family business and entrepreneurship (PGPM-FBE). The application for PGPM-FBE will close on March 10. The classes for the 2025-26 batch will begin in May 2025.
The one-year management course empowers the next generation of family business leaders and entrepreneurs with a curriculum beyond traditional family business education.
PGPM-FBE programme redefines learning for family business and entrepreneurial ventures by integrating academic insights with practical experience. The PGPM-FBE curriculum focuses on innovation, scalability, and resilience in the business landscape.
According to the Great Lakes statement, the key PGPM-FBE includes – tailored curriculum designed to collaborate with industry experts, includes courses such as professionalizing the family business, managing conflicts, business analytics, law, and taxation; pitch business to VCs and startup founders; master marketing and growth strategies with training from experts; and international immersion opportunities for students to enable them to navigate through cross-cultural business barriers and seize international growth opportunities.

PGPM in family business, entrepreneurship
The PGPM family business, entrepreneurship programme is structured for students to:
- Lead family businesses towards sustainable growth
- Develop scalable entrepreneurial ventures with improved business models.
- Leverage emerging technologies to drive digital transformation.
- Master financial and operational strategies.
Speaking on the course launch, Suresh Ramanathan the dean of Great Lakes said: “The PGPM-FBE programme has been meticulously crafted to meet the demands of today’s dynamic business environment.
