GSSSB Clerk Recruitment 2024: Registrations begin for 4,304 vacancies at gsssb.gujarat.gov.in; application fee

NEW DELHI: The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has commenced the registration process for the recruitment of various Group A and Group B posts. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the GSSSB recruitment 2024 application form on the official website at gsssb.gujarat.gov.in. GSSSB clerk registration 2024 will conclude on January 31.

The selection board aims to fill a total of 4,304 vacancies for posts such as Junior Clerk, Senior Clerk, Head Clerk, Office Assistant, Junior Clerk, Office Superintendent, Sub Register, Stamp Inspector, Assistant Tribal Development Officer, Assistant Depot Manager, and Junior Assistant.

GSSSB Clerk Recruitment 2024: Application fee

Candidates belonging to the general category are required to pay Rs 500 whereas, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories are required to pay Rs 400 as application fee to complete the GSSSB clerk recruitment 2024 registration process.

GSSSB Clerk Recruitment 2024: Selection process

First, the preliminary examination for all cadres under Group - A and Group - B will be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

There will be a total of 100 Multiple-choice-questions (MCQ). The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes. Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer to the question.

Additional time of 20 minutes will be provided to disabled candidates. The preliminary test is only for the screening test, the marks obtained by the candidate in the preliminary test will not be considered for the final selection list. Candidates who clear the preliminary exam will be eligible to sit for the main exam.
