Haryana RTE 2026 allotment results out at harprathmik.gov.in; 21,752 get free seats in private schools

Haryana RTE Admissions 2026: The department of education received a total of 31,009 applications for the academic year 2026-27, with a reported allotment success rate of 70.1%.
The Department of School Education, Haryana has issued the RTE school allotment results 2026 for admission to nursery to grade 1 at various government and private schools across the state. Around 21,752 students in Haryana have been allotted private school seats through the RTE school allotment results 2026. The allotment list has been published on the result verification portal at harprathmik.gov.in.
Parents and guardians can check the Haryana RTE 2026 allotment result using their application ID. The Haryana RTE allotment result for admission to nursery, KG, LKG, UKG, and grade 1 for the academic session 2026-27 was done through a computerised lottery process .
According to the data, the Haryana department of education received a total of 31,009 applications for admission this year. The department has also showed a success rate of 70.1% with 21,752 students being placed at private schools across the state.

Haryana RTE 2026 Admissions: 9,257 applicants left without seats
Whereas, nearly 9,257 applicants have not been allotted in the initial draw of results, the data showed.
The department has stated that the school allotment results 2026 are currently provisional and "has been verified by the Result Validation Committee as per the prescribed Lottery Process under the Right to Education Act."
"The allotment is subject to verification of eligibility documents at the time of admission. In case of any discrepancy, the decision of the competent authority shall be final and binding," it added.
In addition, applicants can download the allotted seat verification slip through the official portal. Schools will begin the document verification phase soon, where parents will have to bring original certificates for age, residence, and income status verification.
As per the eligibility criteria, only those students who are resident of Haryana, belong to economically weak background, and have family annual income of less than Rs 1 lakh are eligible for admission through the RTE process.
