Himachal Pradesh Board Class 12 exams 2021 cancelled: Report
HPBOSE Class 12 board exams have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 situation. Following the CBSE trend, the HP board will follow the evaluation criteria.

NEW DELHI : Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has cancelled the HPBOSE Class 12 exams 2021. As per the India Today report, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that following the trend of the CBSE board, the HP board also cancels the Class 12 board exams for the 2020-21 academic session.
The Himachal Pradesh Board will follow the CBSE board’s evaluation criteria for marking the Class 12 students.
The Himachal Pradesh chief minister also said that if the students are not satisfied with their marks, they will be given the opportunity to appear for the exams when the current COVID-19 situation normalises.
"In case some students are not satisfied with the results, they would be allowed to appear in a special examination to be conducted once the situation is conducive for the conduct of the examination,” said the official statement, as reported by India Today .
After CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and CISCE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Board), several state boards have also cancelled the Class 12 board exams including Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh board.
