NEW DELHI: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) collaborates with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) and Aahan Consulting, to expand its "Campus to Corporate" programme in the state. The programme aims to upskill nearly 5,000 final-year diploma students from government polytechnic colleges with industry-ready skills in 2024.

This programme was launched in 2022 in Telangana and since then it has provided training to over 15,000 students across the state. The achievement aligns with the agreement signed between HCCB and TASK last year, aiming to upskill an additional 10,000 students by 2023-24.

The programme aims to provide training in soft skills, resume building, and interview preparation, bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Regional joint director of the department of technical education, C Srinath, said, “Telangana holds significant promise and opportunities for our youth. Initiatives like ‘Campus to Corporate’ are crucial in facilitating a smooth transition for students into professional roles. We welcome the efforts and contributions of HCCB in enhancing the skillset of our students and being a notable part of Telangana’s growth story.”

Himanshu Priyadarshi, chief public affairs, communications, and sustainability officer at HCCB, reiterated the company's commitment to Telangana's growth and highlighted the programme's role in equipping young professionals with the necessary skills for employability.

This announcement follows HCCB's recent meeting with the Chief Minister of Telangana, A Revanth Reddy, showcasing the company's Rs 3,000 crore expansion plans in the state, including a greenfield project in Siddipet district. The initiative is part of HCCB's broader engagement with the Telangana government, encompassing various projects aimed at skill development, water stewardship, and waste management.
