HP PAT, LEET 2026 exam on May 17, 24

The HP board of technical education conducts PAT and LEET exams for admissions to the first and third semesters in government and private polytechnic institutes.
The Himachal Pradesh Board of Technical Education has announced the exam dates for the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT 2026) and Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET 2026). The board will conduct PAT 2026 on May 17 and LEET 2026 on May 24 for admissions to the first and third semesters in government and private polytechnic institutes.
The application form for the HP PAT and LEET 2026 exams will begin in March and April. Candidates can apply for HP LEET and PAT 2026 on the official website, hptechboard.com, once the application form is released.
As per the official HP board notice, HP PAT exams will be held from 10 am to 1 pm, and LEET will be conducted from 10 to 12 pm.
Last year, two candidates, Mannt and Aniket Verma, secured the first ranks by scoring 540 marks out of 600 in the HP PAT exams .
HP PAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
HP PAT is held every year for admission to various affiliated Polytechnic institutes of Himachal Pradesh approved by the A ll India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and registered ITIs, which are approved by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
As per the HP PAT eligibility criteria, candidates who have qualified Class 10 with a minimum 35% marks or are appearing for the final exam are eligible to apply. However, applicants candidature will be cross-examined during the physical reporting. Also, candidates must be residents of Himachal Pradesh.
