HPBOSE has opened re-evaluation and re-checking applications for HPSOS students, with the deadline set for June 10, 2026

The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBOSE), Dharamshala, has declared the Himachal Pradesh State Open School (HPSOS) examination result 2026 on the official website of HPBOSE at hpbose.org. Students can check the scores using their roll number.
A total of 208 candidates appeared for the Class 8 examination, of whom 127 passed, while two failed and 63 were placed in the re-appear category, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 61.06 per cent.
In Class 10, out of 3,895 candidates, 2,129 cleared the examination, 24 failed and 1,639 were marked for re-appear, taking the overall pass percentage to 54.66 per cent.
For Class 12, 5,275 candidates appeared, with 3,406 passing the examination, 37 failing and 1,662 placed in the re-appear category. The Class 12 pass percentage stood at 64.57 per cent.

To check and download the HPSOS Class 8, 10, 12 result 2026, applicants can follow the steps given below:
Students of Classes 8, 10 and 12 are eligible for re-checking through HPSOS study centres in online mode but classes 10 and 12 candidates can also apply for re-evaluation. Applications will be accepted only through authorised study centres, and the last date to apply is June 10, 2026. The board has fixed the re-evaluation fee at Rs 1,000 per subject and the re-checking fee at Rs 800 per subject. Re-evaluation will be permitted only for theory papers, excluding MCQ sections, and candidates must have secured at least 20 per cent marks in the concerned subject to be eligible.

Students whose results have been declared as pass or re-appear and who want to appear for the re-appear or improvement examination (within one year) for the September 2026 session can apply through their respective HPSOS study centres. The board will accept applications without a late fee from June 5 to June 30, 2026. Candidates submitting forms between July 1 and July 13, 2026 will have to pay a late fee of Rs 1,000. The board has also clarified that no applications will be accepted after the deadline.
