Check NowNEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 12: Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has issued notification for the recruitment of clerk. Aspiring candidates can fill the IBPS clerk application form from September 17, 2019, to October 09, 2019. The clerk admit card will be released in the month of November 2019 and the preliminary exam for clerk will be conducted on December 07, 08, 14 and 21, 2019.
The IBPS notification also mentions that a total of 12,075 vacancies has been released for the clerk recruitment from 17 major Indian banks.
The result for the preliminary exam will be declared somewhere between Dec’19 to Jan’20, while the admit card for mains will also be released in Jan’20. The dates for the IBPS clerk mains exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 19, 2019.
Application fee for General & OBC is Rs. 600, while for SC/ST/PWBD/EXSM is Rs. 100/-
IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2019:
Candidate’s looking to participate in the IBPS Clerk 2019 should be an Indian citizen, their age should fall between 20-28 years. (Not born before than 02.09.1991) and they must hold a graduation degree.
The preliminary examination will be conducted in online mode and will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks to be completed within 60 minutes. The IBPS clerk preliminary question paper will be based on Numerical and Reasonal ability and English language.
Candidates qualifying the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the mains examination which will have 190 questions of 200 marks, to be completed within 160 marks. There will be negative marking of 0.25 against wrong answers.
