NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will conduct the ICSI Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test(CSEET) 2024 exam today, July 6. The ICSI CSEET 2024 July exam will be held in remote proctored mode. Candidates are required to download Safe Exam Browser (SEB) without which candidates will not be able to appear for the online exam.
Candidates are required to have the following documents ready for verification by remote proctors to be eligible to take the test- (i) CSEET 2024 admit card and (ii) Government-issued Identity card such as passport, driving licence, PAN Card, UID aadhaar card, or voter card.
According to the CSEET passing criteria, candidates are required to achieve at least 40% marks in each of the four papers individually, and an overall aggregate of 50% marks.
CSEET July 2024 admit card: Exam pattern
CSEET is conducted four times a year, in January, May, July, and November. ICSI CSEET 2024 question paper will have four sections carrying 35 questions each. Candidates will get 120 minutes to complete the CSEET exam. There is no negative marking in the CSEET 2024 exam. The subject-wise question and marks distributions are given in the table below.

CSEET 2024 exam day guidelines
Candidates can have a look at the CSEET 2024 exam day guidelines below.
- Candidates shall ensure that the video and audio of their Laptop or Desktop are correctly positioned and functioning. No earphones or headphones are allowed during the CSEET.
- Sit in a quiet and secluded room or suitable place with a chair and desk/table. The backdrop should preferably be plain, and there should be adequate front lighting so that the candidate is visible up to the waist to the proctor throughout the CSEET. The surroundings should be noise-free, with no other individuals present except the candidate.
- Once seated for the test, no one else should be in the room or place under any circumstances. Failure to comply with this will result in the cancellation of the result.
- On the day of the examination, only the computer, external webcam (if the internal webcam is not available), keyboard, mouse, and any other permitted items should be kept on the desk
- The use of calculators, pens, pencils, paper, notebooks, writing pads, is prohibited during the CSEET exam.
- Candidates are required to dress appropriately and decently during the CSEET exam.
