Selection Process in IES's MCRC for PGDM admission
-
While selecting candidates for PGDM admissions, IES's MCRC takes into consideration the overall readiness of the candidate for the management programme. The aptitude test is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates but along with it, the test scores are also given a small weightage. The final selection also considers multiple parameters like scholastic records, academic performance in class 10, class 10+2 and under graduate level, performance in essay writing, psychometric test, group discussion and personal interview etc.
-
It is on the basis of these parameters that a composite score and the merit list is prepared. This ensures that even if a candidate has an average aptitude test score but has a consistent good academic record in consideration with the selection parameters may get selected.
