IIIT Delhi Convocation 2022: 390 BTech, 191 MTech, 21 PhD students awarded degrees

1 BTech and 1 MTech student received gold medals each, 6 BTech students received silver medals, 4 scholars received Doctoral Dissertation Award.
NEW DELHI : The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi held convocation today in offline mode after two years. This year, the institute conferred degrees upon 390 BTech, 191 MTech, and 5 MTech dual degree and 21 PhD students.
Osheen Sachdev, a student of BTech in Computer Science Engineering received the gold medal this year. Tharun S (MTech CSE) was conferred with the gold medal for excellent academic performance in MTech programme.

Hritik Goel (BTech in Electronics and Communications Engineering), Rohith Rajesh (BTech ECE), Lakshya A Agrawal (BTech Computer Science and Applied Mathematics), Hardik Saini (BTech Computer Science and Biosciences), Sonali Singhal (BTech Computer Science and Design, and Ruhma Mehek Khan (BTech Computer Science and Social Science were awarded the silver medals.
The all round performance medals for the year 2022 were received by six students - Vrinda Narayan (BTech CSE), Shubhi Singhal (BTech ECE), Lakshya A Agrawal (BTech CSAM), Arnav Tandon (BTech CSD), Ruhma Mehek Khan (BTech CSSS), and Vrinda Singhal (BTech CSB).

Moreover, four PhD scholars, Krishan Gupta, Himani Joshi, Maneet Singh, and Neelam Sharma, were awarded the Doctoral Dissertation Award.
During the ceremony, Professor Ranjan Bose shared the initiatives taken by the institute and mentioned that the institute has started a new BTech. programme in electronics and VLSI engineering from this year. Encouraging the graduating students, professor Bose urged them to use every experience as a teacher to make them more aware of who they actually are. He challenged the students to be the leaders, the innovators, and the change-makers.
