IIM Ahmedabad cluster 2 summer placements 2024-25 conclude; Mahindra, Amazon top recruiters

IIM Ahmedabad cluster 3 summer placements 2024-25 will be held on November 18. The internships for PGP Food and Agribusiness Management students will begin in April-June 2025.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) held the cluster 2 summer placements for postgraduate management programmes (PGP) class of 2026. A total of 53 roles in various profiles were offered to PGP students. Overall, Mahindra from the ‘conglomerates’ cohort and Amazon from ‘retail B2B and retail e-commerce’ were the largest recruiters with 8 offers each.
The institute said that the cluster 2 of the IIM Ahmedabad summer placement 2024-25 comprised 7 cohorts namely conglomerates, retail B2B and retail e-commerce, consumer goods, consumer durables, pharmaceuticals and health care.
Following Mahindra and Amazon, the Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) from the consumer goods cohort made 7 offers. Sun Pharmaceuticals, Lodha Ventures and Aditya Birla Group were next with 6 offers each, the institute said.
In the consumer service cohort, Airtel was the largest recruiter with 3 offers. Besides the regular recruiters like Aditya Birla Group, CK Birla Group, JSW Group and Tata Administrative Services, the institute also saw a rise in the participation of firms visiting for the first time in summers such as GMR Group, Bharti Enterprises, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Bharat Serum Vaccine, Michelin India, Sony, Welspun Living, United Breweries (Heineken), Zydus Wellness.
In the new recruiters category, Bharti Enterprises offered jobs for its group treasury, M&A, and corporate finance teams and a new-age startup Trampoline Store made 2 offers for its founder’s office role.
IIM Ahmedabad cluster 3 summer placements 2024-25 will be held on November 18. A total of 73 roles were offered across various domains in the cluster 1 placements that took place on November 12.

IIM-A PGP-FABM summer placements
IIM Ahmedabad concluded the summer placements held in hybrid mode for Post-Graduate Programme in Food and Agribusiness Management (PGP-FABM) for the batch of 2024-26.
“Over 39 companies, encompassing a wide variety of sectors such as Management Consulting, Finance and Commodity Trading, Agri-Inputs and Agri-tech, Conglomerates, Food Supply Chain, Food Processing, ESG consulting, FMCG retail, among others participated in the placements,” it said. “All 47 students joining their respective companies to complete their summer internships in the months of April-June 2025,” it added.
