IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placements: Cluster 1 for PGP 2024-2025 batch sees 73 roles

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has concluded its first cluster of summer placements for the PGP Class of 2026. The placement process was conducted in hybrid mode with companies joining in online as well as offline mode. A total of 73 roles were offered across various domains. MBA Admission 2024 live
As per the official press release, the top three recruiters for the cluster were Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group, and McKinsey and Company. Goldman Sachs was the largest recruiter in the Investment Banking/Markets cohort with 11 offers, followed by HSBC.
The firms participating in Cluster 1 were divided into six cohorts including Management Consulting, Transformation and Operations Consulting, Advisory Consulting, Cards and Financial Advisory, Investment Banking and Markets, and PE/VC, Asset Management and Hedgefunds.
As per the institute, the summer placements for the academic session 2024-25 at IIM Ahmedabad will be conducted in three separate clusters. The second and third clusters are scheduled to take place on November 15 and November 18, respectively.

According to the official press release, recruiters in the consulting domain included regular participants such as Bain and Company, Alvarez and Marsal, Strategyand, Kearney, YCP Auctus Advisors, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, Vector Consulting Group, EY-Parthenon, and Kepler Cannon.
In the Investment Banking, Markets cohort, notable recruiters included Avendus Capital, Bank of America, Citibank, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, DE Shaw, Deutsche Bank India, and HSBC. Goldman Sachs was the largest recruiter in this cohort with 11 offers, followed by HSBC (India and Hong Kong).

In the PE, VC domain, WinZo Funds and WhiteOak Capital led with 6 and 3 offers, respectively. This cohort also saw participation from Ares Management Asia, Arga Investment Management, Premji Invest, RTP Global, Multiples Alternate Asset Management, Faering Capital, Neev Fund (SBI Ventures Limited), PH Values, Pkeday Advisors, and Piramal Alternatives.
IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placement 2024-25: New recruiters
The Summer internship process saw participation from several new recruiters, including Roland Berger, EY-Parthenon Singapore, Cranmore Partners, BNP Paribas, IIFL Securities, UBS, Moelis and Co., Deutsche AG, Deutsche India, and Pkeday Advisors. “Cluster 1 saw an increased participation of international firms from locations such as Hong Kong, Germany, the USA, Singapore and the Middle East,” the official press release read.
