IIM Bodh Gaya to start 5-year integrated management programme

NEW DELHI : Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya has announced the launch of the five-year integrated programme in management, or IPM 2021, on Wednesday.
After IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak , the institute will be the third to start an undergraduate programme in the upcoming academic session.
The new batch will have the intake capacity of 50 students and additional ten supernumerary seats for women candidates. Reservation would be applicable as per government of India regulations after meeting the minimum eligibility criteria.
The five-year programme would offer experiential learning, international immersion and a holistic course curriculum. “The objective of the programme is to prepare candidates from a foundation level for taking up leadership positions in corporates/government organizations,” an official statement said.
Candidates successfully completing the course requirement of the integrated programme in management would be awarded Bachelor of Business Management and Master of Business Administration by the institute.
Candidates will also have the option of exiting after completing the first three years. Such students will be awarded a bachelor’s degree in business management.
Eligibility and admission
To apply for the course, candidates should have passed Class 12 or its equivalent with minimum 60 percent marks in the year 2019, 2020 or appearing in 2021.
The candidate must have also passed the Class 10 examination with 60 percent in or after 2017.
Admission to the programme will be done through a common entrance test and personal interview. Marks obtained in the entrance test will carry 70 percent weightage and personal interview will weigh 30 percent.
The fee of the IIM-IPM course will be Rs.4.5 lakh per year for the first three years. The institute is yet to announce the dates for application and the admission test.
