DICCI will participate at Davos from January 19–21, with IIM Jammu highlighting discussions on entrepreneurship, inclusion and global partnerships.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu chairman and Milind P Kamble will lead a delegation of the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, scheduled from January 19 to 21, 2026.
IIM Jammu said the delegation’s participation at Davos is aimed at projecting India’s entrepreneurship story on a global platform, with a focus on strengthening opportunities for Indian enterprises, including first-generation entrepreneurs and businesses from emerging ecosystems.
The institute said the presence at WEF will allow engagement with global stakeholders on enterprise development, market access and investment linkages.
B S Sahay, director, IIM Jammu, said the delegation’s participation reflects India’s broader commitment to building an “inclusive and innovation-driven economy” as part of the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
He said platforms like WEF enable international collaboration, adding that such global dialogues help strengthen “partnerships, investments and knowledge exchange” that can support India’s development priorities and entrepreneurship-led growth.
IIM Jammu on Davos role
The institute said Kamble’s engagement through DICCI aligns with efforts to promote entrepreneurship as a route to economic empowerment and employment generation. IIM Jammu noted that DICCI has worked with entrepreneurs and MSMEs across sectors, while advocating policy and ecosystem support to improve access to markets, finance and mentoring for underrepresented business communities.
The institute described the effort as part of building an “inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem,” according to the press note.
