IIM Ahmedabad’s two-year BPGP programme combines 80% live online classes with campus immersions; applications open on www.iima.ac.in

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has invited applications for the 2026-28 batch of its Blended Post Graduate Programme in Management (BPGP), a two-year MBA course designed for working professionals and entrepreneurs. Those interested can apply on www.iima.ac.in until April 10, 2026.
Launched two years ago, the IIMA blended MBA programme enables participants to enhance managerial and leadership capabilities while continuing their professional careers.
The programme follows a blended format, with around 80% of the learning conducted through live online classes and the remaining 20% delivered through week-long, in-person campus immersion modules.
The online delivery is facilitated by VCNow, IIM Ahmedabad’s marketing and technology support partner for the programme.
IIM Ahmedabad’s BPGP curriculum blends case-method learning, simulations, projects, and peer-driven engagement, helping participants strengthen cross-functional decision-making, strategic thinking, and leadership readiness, the institute claimed in a statement.

The programme also leverages IIMA’s faculty expertise, research ecosystem, and industry networks, enabling learning that extends beyond the classroom, the note added.
Admissions are guided by IIMA’s evaluation standards. Applicants are reviewed on parameters such as academic record, depth and quality of professional experience, clarity of goals, and performance in the required aptitude test.
They are also assessed on their preparedness for the programme, alignment with its expectations, and ability to contribute meaningfully to peer learning.
The programme equips participants to drive innovation, organisational growth, and strategic transformation in dynamic business environments.
Bharat Bhasker, director, IIMA, said BPGP reflects the institute’s commitment to accessible, high-quality management education for mid-career professionals.
Joshy Jacob, chairperson, BPGP, said the programme is designed for candidates who possess work experience, demonstrate leadership potential, and are capable of balancing academic rigour alongside professional responsibilities.
“The BPGP is built for individuals who bring maturity, curiosity and ambition to the classroom. Our objective is to help participants strengthen their managerial foundation while developing the ability to think across functions, lead teams and make decisions in ambiguous environments,” Jacob said.
