IIM Lucknow, Eruditus launches executive programme in data science

IIM Lucknow data science course is designed to upskill professionals, analysts, entrepreneurs, business owners.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, in collaboration with Eruditus, is set to launch an executive programme in data science, a programme that trains students in practical business decision-making with statistics, data science tools, and techniques using Excel and R. The IIM Lucknow data science course duration is nine months.
According to an official statement, the programme includes live online sessions and a three-day on-campus immersion at the IIM Lucknow campus. The IIM Lucknow executive programme in data science has been designed for upskilling early-stage professionals, business and data analysts, senior management professionals and entrepreneurs and business owners.

Those who enrol for the course will receive a certificate of completion on successful completion of the course. They will also become eligible for the IIM Lucknow executive education alumni status.
The objective of the course is to develop in students the managerial understanding of tools and techniques used in data science and machine learning and to train them to take data-driven and real-time organisational decisions. The course will also teach the learners the concepts of statistics so that they can make efficient business decisions through a better understanding of data structure and data analysis.

“Data Science has evolved as a significant career choice in recent times with many fresh graduates as well as experienced professionals switching to data-related roles. The programme from IIM Lucknow has been specifically designed for executives looking for upskilling in the field of data science. The curriculum helps learners acquaint with the concepts of data analysis and the advanced tools and techniques to implement in different businesses scenarios,” said Gaurav Garg, associate professor at IIM Lucknow.
