IIM Sambalpur Placement 2023: Highest domestic package stands at Rs 64.61 lakh, 147 % higher than last year

The highest salary offered to the students has increased from Rs 26.19 lakhs per annum to Rs 64.61 lakhs per annum, as compared to last year.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur has achieved 100 percent placement for its MBA batch of 2023, with the highest salary recorded at Rs 64.61 lakhs per annum (LPA) on the domestic level. On the international level, the highest salary offered was Rs 64.15 LPA.The institute witnessed a rise of 147 percent in terms of the highest salary offered to the students.
As per the official press release, the female students outperformed male students with an average salary of Rs 18.25 LPA. 27 percent students of the batch were placed in the Sales and Marketing sector. The institute further informed that the average salary logged by the students of the MBA batch stands at Rs 16.64 LPA, while the median salary is Rs 16 LPA.

Top recruiters this year
Names of the companies that conducted recruitment drives included Microsoft, Vedanta, Tolaram, Amul, Adani, EY, Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, Bosch, Amazon, Akzo Nobel, Capgemini and ICICI. More than 130 recruiters participated in the recruitment process conducted at the IIM Sambalpur, which included 75 new recruiters. The MBA batch comprised as many as 167 students, all of whom bagged placement.
IIM Sambalpur director Mahadeo Jaiswal said: "The outstanding placements of the MBA 2021-23 batch at the institute demonstrate the institute's commitment to providing students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen careers".
