IIMC PG Diploma admission 2024 counselling starts at iimc.admissions.nic.in; merit list on May 11

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has started the e-counselling process for admission into its five postgraduate (PG) diploma programmes. Students can register for e-counselling at iimc.admissions.nic.in. IIMC PG admission 2024 will be held on the basis of Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) 2024.

Students applying for the e-counselling process will have to pay a registration of Rs 1,500. However, candidates from EWS, OBC, SC, ST and PH categories will have to submit an application fee of Rs 1,000. IIMC PG admission merit list will be issued on May 11. The institute is holding admission for PG Diplomas in English Journalism, Hindi Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Radio and Television Journalism, and Digital Media. The new academic session will start on August 5 tentatively.

Rakesh Kumar Goswami, IIMC admission incharge and controller of examinations advised candidates to fill out their preferences carefully for the courses and campuses while filling the registration form. “Any request for changes in the preferences will not be accepted after the submission of the registration form. Once the course selection is finalised, candidates are required to make an advance payment of Rs. 20,000 as tuition fee to secure their seat in the preferred course. The remaining balance must be paid within the stipulated date and time to complete the admission process,” he added.

IIMC Admission 2024: Documents required

The candidates will have to submit their high school certificate for verification of the date of birth and the final graduation mark sheet. If candidates belonging to the reserved category are not able to submit the caste certificate, then they can give an undertaking at the time of admission. They will have to submit the category certificate within the stipulated date and time.
