Download NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, ranked 2nd in the Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023 rankings for engineering, has announced the launch of a certificate programme in data analytics for business applications. This seven-month programme is meticulously designed to cater to professionals from diverse backgrounds, integrating essential business tools to navigate the data-driven business landscape.

IIT Delhi's Data Analytics for Business Application Programme: Eligibility
Eligibility for the programme includes graduates or diploma holders from recognized universities with a mandatory background in 12th grade mathematics. The programme begins on June 30, 2024, with a fee of Rs 98,000 plus GST. Upon successful completion, participants with a minimum grade of 50% or 60% attendance will receive a prestigious certificate of completion from IIT Delhi.
Programme Curriculum
The curriculum includes live online sessions delivered by top IITD faculty, hands-on learning experiences, industry-oriented insights, real-world case studies, and a Capstone project. Participants will gain proficiency in essential business analytics tools like Python, Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), Structured Query Language (SQL), and Orange, which are crucial for analyzing and interpreting complex datasets. Modules cover core statistical analysis, advanced statistical analysis, prescriptive decision science systems, and artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The programme aims to equip early-career professionals, mid-career experts, consultants, entrepreneurs, and small business owners with robust data analytics skills. It will help participants effectively interpret complex datasets, enabling them to drive impactful strategies, refine offerings, and foster sustained growth and competitive advantage.
