IIT Roorkee, BIA collaborate to organise awareness programme on MSME innovative scheme

IIT Roorkee: The MSME scheme will bring the Indian manufacturing sector and design expertise to a common platform.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee and Bhagwanpur Industries Association (BIA), Haridwar collaborated to organise an awareness programme on the MSME innovative scheme. According to an agreement between the MSME ministry and IIT Roorkee, the MSME ministry nominated IIT Roorkee as the implementing agency to promote the MSME innovative scheme.
The primary goal of this scheme is to bring together the Indian manufacturing sector and design expertise on a single platform. The MSME scheme aims to give professional advice and cost-effective solutions to real-time design difficulties, new product development, ongoing improvement and value addition in existing or new products.
During the event, Bhagwanpur SDM, Jeetendra Kumar, said, “The design plan would assist MSMEs to work on all elements of' design with IIT Roorkee, department of design and design innovation centre. This will assist MSMEs in realising and fulfilling their design-related objectives.”
