As per the India Post GDS January merit list 2025, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the Class 10 board examinations. The list is a system-generated merit list.
NEW DELHI: India Post has announced the merit list for the India Post Gramin Dak Sewak (GDS) January 2025 for a total of 21,413 vacancies. Registered candidates can check the merit list for 22 states through the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
The India Post GDS January merit list 2025 has been released for shortlisted candidates, belonging to Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
As per the GDS January merit list 2025, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the Class 10 board examinations. The list is a system-generated merit list.
A total of
21,413 GDS vacancies
will be filled through the India Post recruitment drive.
The final selection of the shortlisted candidates in the India Post GDS January merit list 2025, will be based on physical verification of the original documents by the divisional or unit head of the division or unit where the vacancy is notified.
Candidates are requested to get their documents verified by the divisional head mentioned against their names before April 7, as per the official notice. They should present original documents and two sets of self attested photocopies of all the required documents at the time of verification, it added.

Candidates can download the declared merit list by following the steps given below.
- Browse through the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
- On the homepage, look for the “India Post GDS merit list available” link and click on it.
- You will be redirected to a new page where the merit list will be given state wise.
- Select your state from the drop down menu and click on view posts.
- India Post GDS merit list January 2025 will appear on the screen.
- Download it and make a print out for future reference.
