Institute for Technology and Management (ITM) Business School has introduced a new MBA in Applied AI, a full-time programme aimed at preparing students for a business world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence. The launch event at the institute’s Navi Mumbai campus saw participation from industry leaders, academicians, and media representatives, all discussing how AI is changing the way companies operate and make decisions.

The programme has been designed for students who want to combine management skills with practical knowledge of AI applications in business. While AI concepts are already included across existing MBA specialisations at ITM Business School, this new programme focuses entirely on applied AI and its real-world business use cases.

The course will help students understand how AI can be used to automate processes, improve decision-making, design intelligent workflows, and support innovation across industries. The programme aims to create professionals who are comfortable working alongside emerging technologies and intelligent business systems.

He added further, “The need of the hour is professionals who combine strong business understanding with the ability to apply AI effectively and responsibly. Ultimately, when confronted with rapid technological change, we must remember: Human Intelligence remains central.”
