NEW DELHI: The Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, announced the new exam date for JEE Advanced 2021 yesterday, July 26. According to the announcement, the JEE Advanced 2021 exam will be conducted on October 3. Most of the students were happy with the announcement of the JEE Advanced exam date 2021 as it has provided them with clarity about the time left for preparation.

IIT Kharagpur had already released the JEE Advanced 2021 brochure on the official website. Many new changes were introduced in the JEE Advanced brochure 2021 like candidates who were eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2020 but were absent will be given a chance to appear for JEE Advanced 2021.

Though IIT Kharagpur has provided a chance to JEE Advanced 2020 candidates, some students are requesting authorities to give a chance to JEE Advanced 2019 students. Check below the reactions of students on the JEE Advanced 2021 exam date announcement.

A student thanked the minister for the announcement of the JEE Advanced 2021 date on Twitter.

An aspirant requested the authorities to allow 2019 candidates as well as to give chance to all JEE Advanced 2020 droppers.

A Twitter user, Renu, seemed unhappy with the decision and said that October 3 is too late and will result in a delay in the start of the academic session.

A NEET aspirant asked the minister if JEE Advanced can be delayed till October then NEET aspirants should also be given a chance; NEET 2021 should also be postponed till October.

Another Twitter user, Asmita has also requested the minister to provide a third chance to all JEE Main 2020 aspirants in 2021.

Another Twitter user, Rohit, regarded the announcement of the JEE Advanced date as a fair decision by the government.

The announcement of the JEE Advanced exam date 2021 has come as a relief to most of the students appearing for the JEE Main 2021 exam. NTA is conducting the last day of JEE Main 2021 session 3 today, July 27. The exam dates for JEE Main 4th session 2021 are August 26, 27, 31, and September 1, 2.
