Try NowSeveral Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are hosting Open House for JEE Advanced 2026 qualifiers. Students willing to take admission to a premier IIT can attend the open house to get more information about the engineering courses offered and career prospects.
IITs host open houses to guide JEE Advanced 2026 qualifiers in making well-informed decisions about their future and offer insights into academics, research opportunities, extracurricular and co-curricular activities, and overall campus life.
The sessions also provide a platform to address queries around engineering course structures, hostel facilities offered, career pathways, research exposure, and international collaborations.
This year, a total of 1,87,389 candidates registered for JEE Advanced 2026, out of which 1,79,694 appeared for both paper 1 and paper 2, conducted on May 17. Among the candidates who appeared, 56,880 successfully qualified for the examination, including 10,107 female candidates.

JoSAA Counselling 2026
Candidates can get admission to IIT after participating in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling 2026 . JEE Advanced 2026 qualifiers can apply for JoSAA counselling 2026 on the official website, josaa.nic.in. The round 1 seat allotment results will be announced on June 13 for BTech admissions.
JoSAA counselling 2026 is held for candidates seeking admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JEE Main 2026 or JEE Advanced 2026 scores. A total of 67,323 engineering seats are offered, and 4,470 new BTech seats have been added to the JoSAA counselling 2026 seat matrix .
