Try NowJEE Advanced 2026 Provisional Answer Key: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has released the provisional answer key for JEE Advanced 2026 on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam can now access the provisional answer key online using their registration number, date of birth and mobile number. Earlier, IIT Roorkee had already released the response sheets on May 21, while question papers for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 were made available on May 17.
Students can now review the provisional answer key and submit objections if they find any discrepancy in the provisional answer key. After evaluating all challenges, IIT Roorkee will release the final answer key on June 1 along with the JEE Advanced 2026 results on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in

Candidates can follow the below steps to check the JEE Advanced 2026 provisional answer key;
- Visit the official JEE Advanced portal at jeeadv.ac.in
- On the homepage, find the link for “Provisional Answer Key for JEE Advanced 2026”
- Log in using required credentials, if asked
- Enter details such as registration number, date of birth, and other login information
- Select either Paper 1 or Paper 2 based on your requirement
- Choose the preferred language version, if available
- Open the answer key PDF, download it, and save it for reference and score calculation.
JEE Advanced 2026 Provisional Answer Key: How to Challenge
Candidates can follow the below steps to challenge the JEE advanced 2026 provisional answer key;
- Visit the official JEE Advanced portal and open the candidate login section.
- Sign in using your registration number, date of birth and mobile number.
- Click on the answer key challenge or objection option on the dashboard.
- Select the relevant paper and use the exact Question ID to raise an objection.
- Upload a PDF with proper solution steps and academic proof from standard references.
- Pay the Rs 500 fee per question challenged through online payment methods.
- Review all details, submit the objection and save the confirmation receipt.
Candidates need to pay the fee completely through online methods such as credit card, debit card or net banking. If the IIT expert committee accepts the challenge after review, the full amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account.
However, if the objection is rejected, the fee paid for that challenged question will not be returned.
