JEE Main 2018 Admit Card available now

NEW DELHI, MARCH 12: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit card of JEE Main 2018 in online mode. All of the registered candidates will now be able to download the admit card after providing their application number, password and security pin. Since the admit card is an important document, it has to be downloaded and produced while reporting at the exam centre. Without the JEE Main admit card, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the venue and attempt the examination.

Steps to Download JEE Main Admit Card 2018

Apply to Amity, Noida M.A. (Journalism & Mass Comm) Admissions

Applications for Admissions are open.
  • The candidates will have to enter their JEE Main application number and password. The displayed security pin also has to be submitted.
  • After submission, the admit card will be available on the screen.
  • The candidates will have to check the admit card for any discrepancies.
  • The admit card has to be downloaded and printed out.
  • If any mistakes are found in the admit card, then the candidates are requested to report to the JEE Main Secretariat.

Which details will be available in JEE Main Admit Card?

The following particulars, which are available in the released admit card, has to be checked by the candidates before downloading:

  • Center Number
  • Center of Examination
  • Candidate’s Name
  • Father’s Name
  • Candidate’s Mailing Address
  • Course
  • Roll Number
  • Date of Exam
  • Paper
  • Timings
  • Question Paper Medium
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Application Number
  • State of Eligibility
  • Category
  • Person with Disability (Yes or No)
  • Photograph and Signature of the Candidate

While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates have to ensure that the admit card is carried along. No other object except the admit card and a cardboard or writing pad (with nothing written on it) will be allowed. Those who will be appearing for Paper 2 of JEE Main will have to carry their own Geometry Box Set, Pencils, Erasers and Colour Pencils or Crayons for the drawing paper.

Some Guidelines for JEE Main 2018 Examination

  • Black ball point pen will be provided to the candidates in the exam hall.
  • The candidates are requested to arrive at the venue atleast 2 hours before the examination starts.
  • The admit card has to be shown at the venue. Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to enter the venue.
  • The candidates will not be allowed to leave the venue till the examination is over.

JEE Main 2018 Paper I will be conducted on April 8 (offline mode) and April 15 & 16, 2018 (online mode). The exam will consist of 90 objective questions (30 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark while for every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted. JEE Main Paper II will also be conducted in offline mode on April 8, 2018. JEE Main Paper II will have 50 Mathematics, 20 Aptitude and 2 Drawing questions.
