For JEE Main 3rd session 2021, NTA has increased the JEE Main exam cities from 232 to 334 . Along with this, the number of JEE Mains 2021 exam centres in every shift will be increased from 660 to 828.
JEE Mains 2021 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must carry JEE Main admit card 2021 to the exam centres along with a valid photo ID proof.

It is mandatory to carry the JEE Mains self-declaration form to the exam centres.

Candidates must follow all the JEE Main 2021 exam day guidelines at the exam centres.

No electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, etc. will be allowed inside the exam hall.
JEE Main 2021 Shift 1 timings were 9.00 am to 12.00 noon while shift 2 timings are 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The National Testing Agency is conducting the JEE Main 2021 session 3 exam on July 20, 22, 25 and 27. JEE Main phase 3 exam 2021 is held in two shifts on each exam date. Candidates can check all the details related to JEE Mains 2021 including things to be taken for JEE Main exam.
Joint Entrance Exam (Main) is the engineering entrance exam for admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. JEE Main exam is also the qualifying exam for the JEE Advanced, the only admission test for the IITs. This year, IIT Kharagpur will conduct the JEE Advanced.

How was the JEE Main paper today?
As per the students reaction, the overall difficulty level of exam was moderate. Chemistry was the easiest section with all question covered from NCERT. This year a total of 84 institutes are participating in JEE Main 2021 exam comprises 31 National Institute of Technology (NITs), 25 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), and 28 Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). Apart from this, there are many private and state colleges which offer admissions on the basis of JEE Main score.

JEE Mains 2021 Self-declaration form
NTA has released a JEE Main self declaration form along with the JEE Mains admit card 2021. Candidates have to carry the self-declaration form to the exam centres. JEE self-declaration form/undertaking is a document wherein candidates have to provide information about COVID-19 symptoms or their contact with any COVID-19 positive patient in recent days. Candidates will also be required to provide details about their travel history.
Note: No candidate will be allowed to appear in JEE Main 2021 exam without a duly signed self declaration form JEE Main exam.

JEE Main 2021: COVID-19 Guidelines
Applicants appearing for JEE Main 2021 session 3 exam must follow all the COVID-19 guidelines at the exam centre as issued by NTA.
- Candidates are allowed to take their face mask, hand sanitizer and transparent water bottle inside the exam hall.
- Applicants are not allowed to take off their face masks during the exam.
- Face masks will also be provided at the JEE Main 2021 exam centre.
- Candidates must follow all the COVID-19 guidelines during the exam.

JEE Main 2021 Session 3 exam: Check exam pattern
JEE Mains 2021 exam will be conducted as an online exam of 3 hours. JEE Main July 20 exam will have three subjects- physics, chemistry and mathematics. There will be two sections in each subject- Section A and B. Section A will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and section B will contain questions to which answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In section B, candidates have to attempt any five out of 10 questions. There will be no negative marking for section B.
