According to the JEE Advanced marks versus rank 2025, a candidate scoring 250 out of 360 in JEE Advanced may obtain a rank between 1 to 500. Similarly, a BTech student scoring between 278 and 332 marks will likely get a rank between 1 and 101 in JEE advanced.
The JEE Advanced is a national entrance test for admission to engineering programmes at various IITs across the country. There are a total of 23 IITs in India with over 18,000 engineering seats for the 2025 academic year.
The
National Testing Agency
(NTA) conducts JEE Mains. The JEE Advanced 2026 is expected to be conducted by IIT Roorkee, as per media reports.
The NTA has announced the
JEE Main 2026 exam dates
. However, it has not started the registrations yet. Candidates will be able to submit the JEE Main 2026 application form through the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.

JEE Advanced 2026: Marks vs rank for last five years
There has been a slight dip in the JEE Advanced for rank 1. However, the minimum score to obtain a rank below 1000 has increased. The score required to obtain the first rank in the JEE Advanced 2025 is the lowest in three years, the trends show.
