NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 admit card links for January 24-25 BE, Btech, or Paper 1, exam is active. JEE Main 2023 session 1 starting tomorrow, January 24 will be held in 290 cities across the country and 18 cities outside. Unlike previous years, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is not releasing the JEE Main admit cards for all the exam dates at once. On January 21, NTA made the admit cards for day 1 JEE Main exam available and on January 18 announced the JEE exam city centres to facilitate the applicants in making travel plans. The JEE Main 2023 admit card download link for all the days of session 1 exam will be made active at jeemain.nta.nic.in and can be accessed by submitting the application numbers and dates of birth.
This year, JEE Main will be conducted in two sessions -- January and April. While the first session is scheduled to be held between January 24 and February 1, the second session will be held from April 6 to April 12.

JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Admit Card Updates: The NTA JEE Main 2023 hall ticket for January 24-25 and subsequent exams when available can be accessed by logging into the jeemain.nta.nic.in website. Follow this blog for latest updates.
NTA has not prescribed any specific dress code for JEE Mains 2023. However, female candidates are suggested to wear socks, plain pullovers, sweaters and cardigans. Candidates are not permitted to carry any barred items at the examination centre. Also, they should avoid wearing any kind of jewellery and ornaments. They should also refrain from wearing digital watches or carrying a phone or electronic device.
NTA has advised candidates to carry the JEE Main admit card 2023 along with self declaration form (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website in a clear printout on A4 size paper.

Candidates must carry the following items while reporting at the JEE Main exam centre.
1. JEE Main admit card along
2. Duly filled-in self declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website
3. A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
4. Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
5. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), if required.
6. Personal transparent water bottle.
7. Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.
NTA will conduct the JEE Mains 2023 exam in two sessions this year.
January 22: JEE Main admit card 2023 for January 25 exam released

January 18: NTA has released the JEE Main 2023 exam city intimation slip for session 1.
January 13: The authorities have opened the JEE Main 2023 form correction facility at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023. Candidates were allowed to edit their JEE Main application form 2023 till January 14.
January 12: The NTA has closed the JEE Main 2023 registration portal.
January 10: Bombay High Court refuses to postpone IIT JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam. Later that day, the NTA relaxed the 75 percent eligibility criteria.
December 15: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the JEE Main 2023 exam date.
To prevent cheating in the exam, the NTA has warned students that they may be debarred for 3 years in the future if found to have used unfair practices in the JEE Main 2023 exam.
The JEE Mains exam will be held in two shifts. While the first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, the second shift of JEE Main 2023 exam will be held between 3 pm and 6 pm. The reporting time for the first session is 7 am and for the second session is 1 pm.
NTA has issued the JEE Main 2023 exam city intimation slip on January 19, 2023. The JEE Main exam city intimation slip 2023 includes the name of the city where candidates have to reach to appear in the examination.
NTA JEE Main mock test for engineering aspirants is available in online mode on the mobile application ‘National Test Abhyas’. Candidates can download the app from the google play store or app store and can practice JEE Main mock tests which are completely free of cost.

No plea will be entertained in this regard, an NTA statement said.

The NTA JEE Main 2022 hall ticket has a list of guidelines including filling up of a self-declaration (undertaling) form to make sure that all the JEE aspiranst, invigilators and staff members on the JEE exam centres are safe. According to a Twitter post by JEE aspirants, JEE Main 2023 exam set to be held on January 24 for a candidate in Lucknow has been postponed. As per JEE Main 2023 marking scheme, in Paper 1- BE, BTech, each subject (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) will have two sections comprise of 90 questions of 300 marks. Section A will comprise of 60 MCQs and Section B will comprise of 30 questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. JEE aspirants have to attempt 5 questions out of 10 and there will be negative markings for both section A and section B.
Candidates have been posting on social media that their exams are rescheduled. A candidate on Twitter said NTA has emailed the candidate saying: "Due to administrative reasons, your JEE(Main)-2023 Session 1 Exam, 2023, which was scheduled at Kurukshetra on 24.1.2023/25.1.2023 has been rescheduled to 31st Jan/1st Feb 2023."

It is compulsory for candidates to carry the JEE Main 2023 admit card along with the self-declaration form on the day of the exam. Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Candidates will also have to follow a certain JEE Main 2023 dress code.

For the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has relaxed the 75 percent eligibility criteria. According to an official notification, students who have scored 75% marks or are in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 of any education board will be eligible to seek admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

The candidates will only be given 5 blank papers for rough work in the JEE Main 2023 examination. "Candidates must write their name and Roll Number at the top of the sheet and must drop in the designated drop box without fail, before leaving the examination Hall/Room.
