NTA has advised candidates to carry the JEE Main admit card 2023 along with self declaration form (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website in a clear printout on A4 size paper.

To prevent cheating in the exam, the NTA has warned students that they may be debarred for 3 years in the future if found to have used unfair practices in the JEE Main 2023 exam.

As per JEE Main 2023 marking scheme , in Paper 1- BE, BTech, each subject (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) will have two sections comprise of 90 questions of 300 marks. Section A will comprise of 60 MCQs and Section B will comprise of 30 questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. For the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has relaxed the 75 percent eligibility criteria. 5. No JEE main admit card shall be issued to the candidates whose applications are found to be incomplete for any reasons (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned Applications) or who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria for the examination
6. Issue of JEE Main admit cards, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of the admission process

JEE Main January Session: January 24 to February 1

JEE Main April Session: April 6 to 12

The JEE Main 2023 admit cards are not released for all the candidates. In case of some candidates, NTA while releasing the JEE Main 2023 admit cards on Saturday, January 21 said, the images are blurred. Hence, their admit cards have not been released.

JEE Main candidates are advised to carry only the following with them into the examination venue:

iii. Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet

iv. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), if required

• For the correct answer or the most appropriate answer, candidates will be awarded four marks.
• For an incorrect answer, there is a penalty of minus one mark.
• In case a question is left unanswered or marked for review, no mark will be given.
• In case, more than one option is found to be correct then four marks will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
• Also, four marks will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question in which all options are found to be correct.
• If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped then full marks will be awarded to all candidates who have appeared irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday, January 21 made the JEE Main 2023 admit cards for day 1 exam available. For January 25 exam, the admit cards will be issued today and for later exams subsequently.
