JEE Main 2021- Tips to avoid negative marking in exam
Here are some points that can help students avoid negative marks in the JEE Main 2021 exam.
Don’t be in a hurry- A competitive exam like JEE Main can cause panic among students and because of which students tend to make silly mistakes in a hurry. Candidates should keep themselves calm to avoid any careless mistakes.
Read the question carefully- Students should read each and every question carefully and understand it well before answering. This will reduce the chances of missing any point of the question and thereby avoiding negative marks.
No guesswork- Students should keep in mind that they should answer the question in the JEE Main 2021 exam only when they are sure of the answer. Guesswork will directly lead to negative marks and it is advised to avoid answering if a candidate is not sure of.
Don’t focus on the number of attempted questions- Many students focus on the number of questions answered by them and because of this they tend to answer questions they are not even sure of. Such students focus on increasing their attempts. However, the focus of the students should be on the number of correctly answered questions in the JEE Mains 2021 exam rather than the number of attempted questions. This will also help in reducing negative marks.
