JoSAA 2018 Round 5 Seat Allotment Announced

NEW DELHI, JULY 14: Joint Seat Allocation Authority has released the seat allotment result for round 5. Candidates can now check their allotment status by logging into their account. The allotted candidates will be required to verify their documents and accept their seats by July 15, 2018. Provisional allotment letter has to be downloaded and payment of seat acceptance fees also has to be done by the candidates. The opening and closing ranks of each participating institute have been declared by the JoSAA authorities.
How to check/download JoSAA 2018 seat allotment letter?
The candidates can follow the given steps to check and download the seat allotment letter in JoSAA 2018:
- The link to the seat allotment letter is available on the official JoSAA website.
- Candidates will have to submit their JEE Main roll number and password
- The seat allotment letter will be available after the log in is done successfully
- The candidates will have to download and print out the letter for further use.
What after the seat allotment?
The selected candidates will have to pay the seat allocation fee using e-challan or SBI net banking. If the payment is not done within the specified time, then the allotted seats of the candidates may get cancelled. Next, the candidates will have to report at the nearest Reporting Centres for verification of documents. At the reporting centres, the candidates will be able to select an option regarding the allotment – Freeze, Float and Slide. It is important for the candidates to report at the correct reporting centres as per their allotted institute.
