JoSAA Counselling 2026 LIVE: Round 3 seat allotment result tomorrow; BTech closing ranks

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will publish the JoSAA counselling 2026 round 3 seat allotment result tomorrow, July 6. Candidates will be able to download the JoSAA round 3 seat allotment result 2026 on the official website at josaa.nic.in, through the login portal.

Candidates will have to log in using their application number and password to download their JoSAA round 3 seat allotment letter. As per the JoSAA counselling 2026 round 3 schedule, the last date for admission fee payment is July 8.

Those who will be allotted a seat in a BTech course must complete the online seat acceptance process within the given timeline. JoSAA conducts counselling for admission to 23 Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), IISc Bengaluru, 31 National Institute of Technology (NITs), IIEST Shibpur, 26 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and 56 other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs).

For the 2026-27 academic year, a total of 64,219 engineering seats are available for BTech admissions, along with 3,104 supernumerary seats reserved for female candidates. Among all participating institutions, the NITs offer the largest share, with 25,162 seats.
