Candidates can check JoSAA round 5 result on the official website, josaa.nic.in.

Candidates will have to use their JEE Main 2025 application number and password to download the JoSAA 5th round result 2025. As per the JoSAA counselling 2025 schedule, students can report online to the allotted colleges by July 14. The online reporting will include fee payment, uploading of documents, response by candidates to queries. The last date to respond to queries is July 14 only.
The seat withdrawal process will begin from July 12. Candidates will be able to withdraw their seats or exit the counselling process by July 14.

How to check JoSAA round 5 seat allotment result?
The steps to check JoSAA 2025 round 5 seat allotment are given below.
- Visit the official website of JoSAA, josaa.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the link ‘round 5 seat allotment result'
- Enter JEE Main application number, password, and security pin
- Click on the submit button
- JoSAA round 5 seat allotment order will be displayed
- Check your allotment status and proceed for further action
Seat allotted candidates will have to exercise one of the following options:
- Freeze: If candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds of counselling.
- Float: If candidates want to accept the allocated seat but are considering higher preference choices in further rounds.
- Slide: If candidates accept the current seat but are willing to switch to a higher preferred academic programme within the same institute if it becomes available in later rounds.
