Check NowNEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET) 2024 counselling round 1 provisional seat allotment result. Registered candidates who filled their choices can access the Karnataka PGCET 2024 round 1 provisional seat allotment result by visiting the official website, keaonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Candidates will be required to enter their CET number to access the Karnataka PGCET 2024 seat allotment result. As per the information on the official website, candidates shortlisted in the round 1 seat provisional allotment result are not required to report at the allotted college as of now.
Candidates can also raise objections against the Karnataka PGCET 2024 seat allotment result by 4 pm, today. The objections are required to be sent via email at keauthority-ka@nic.in. The official website further states that the Karnataka PGCET 2024 final seat allotment result will be out on January 15.
Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2024: Options after seat allotment
Candidates will have the following options after Karnataka PGCET 2024 seat allotment result.
Freeze: When a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and wants to accept it as final, they choose the "Freeze" option. This means they accept the seat and will not participate in further rounds of seat allotment.
Float: The "Float" option is for candidates who accept the current seat but wish to be considered for a better option in subsequent rounds. If they get an upgraded seat, the previously allotted seat will be canceled; if no upgrade happens, they retain the initial seat.
Slide: This option is for candidates who are willing to accept the current seat but want to be considered for a better seat within the same college or department. If an upgrade happens within the same institution, the previous seat will be canceled, but if not, they keep the current allotment.

Candidates will require the following documents for Karnataka PGCET 2024 counselling process.
- Printout of the Karnataka PGCET 2024 application form
- Karnataka PGCET 2024 hall ticket
- GATE 2024 scorecard
- Two passport-size recent colour photograph
- SSLC, Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12, 2nd PUC marksheet
- Class 10 and 12 certificates
- Qualifying exam mark sheet and degree
- Category certificate (In case applicable)
- Income certificate if availing fee waiver
- Work certificate if applying for MTech, ME, MArch part-time course
