Karnataka TET 2018 application date extended; now apply till Dec 31

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 27: School Education Board of Karnataka has extended the last date to fill Karnataka TET application form 2018 till December 31. Earlier, the last date to fill the application form and pay the application fee was December 25 and 27 respectively. Hence, candidates are now getting 5 more days to apply for Karnataka TET exam. To fill the application form, eligible candidates can visit the official website - http://www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in/ and click on the application link. The application form must be filled in online mode along with the payment of the prescribed application fee.
Candidates must fill the application form correctly since no modification or correction in the details is being entertained by the examination authority. Candidates have to upload their scanned copy of recent photograph and signature. After the submission of the application form, candidates must get a copy of the application form printed for future references. All those who fill the application form successfully will be issued the admit card two weeks prior to the date of examination.
Karnataka TET exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 3, 2019. The exam will be conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates as teachers in classes 1 to 8. Karnataka TET is conducted for two papers - paper 1 (for classes 1 to 5) and paper II ( for classes 6 to 8) carrying 150 questions of 1 mark each. No marks are deducted for any wrong response given by the candidate.
