Download NowThe Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala has opened the Kerala Plus Two SAY (Save A Year) and Improvement Examination 2026 registration window from today, June 1, 2026. Students can apply through their respective schools. The last date to apply is June 3, 2026.
This facility is for students who fail to secure the minimum qualifying D+ grade in one or more subjects in the March board examinations. Alongside, the board has initiated the revaluation and scrutiny process for answer sheets.
The DHSE Kerala, has scheduled the Plus Two SAY examinations from June 29 to July 3, 2026. The results of the SAY examinations are likely to be declared in the middle of July 2026.

Kerala Plus Two SAY Registration 2026: Steps to apply
Candidates may complete the application process by following the instructions outlined below:
- Obtain the SAY/Improvement examination application form from the respective school
- Fill in all required personal information and provide the registration number used for the March 2026 board examinations
- Enter the appropriate subject codes for the supplementary or improvement subjects selected
- Affix a recent passport-size photograph in the designated section of the application form
- Remit the prescribed examination fee as per the guidelines issued by the authorities
- Submit the duly completed application form to the school principal on or before the specified deadline
Kerala Plus Two 2026: Statistics
The Kerala Plus Two (DHSE) 2026 results recorded an overall pass percentage of 77.97%. A total of 3,72,423 regular students appeared for the examination, with more than 2.90 lakh candidates qualifying for higher studies. Girls continued to outperform boys, registering a pass percentage of 84.89%, compared to 68.41% among boys.

This year, 30,561 students secured full A+ grades. Among the districts, Idukki emerged as the top performer, while the Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage among all streams. Overall, around 4.5 lakh candidates appeared for the Kerala Plus Two examinations across categories.
