LPU BTech student secured Rs 2.5 crore job offer; over 1,700 land top placements

NEW DELHI: A final-year student of Lovely Professional University (LPU) has secured a placement package of Rs 2.5 crore per annum. Sri Vishnu, a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) student, received the offer from a Robotics and Automation company.

As per the institute, the placement surpasses previous records set by institutions including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), and National Institutes of Technology (NITs), highlighting LPU’s role in higher education and industry-focused training.

During his time at LPU, Sri Vishnu completed three international internships in Singapore, Japan, and the United States, gaining global experience and enhancing his skills in robotics.

Reflecting on his journey, Vishnu shared, “It is an honour to hold the title of being an LPU student. It’s not just about securing a job but about constantly improving and reaching your full potential. I owe a lot of my success to LPU’s infrastructure, faculty, and the opportunities and support they provided.”

LPU student secures Rs 1.03 crore package

Another final-year ECE student, Betireddy Naga Vamsi Reddy from Andhra Pradesh, has secured a Rs 1.03 crore package from a robotics and automation company.

LPU stated that over 1,700 students have received offers from multinational companies, with packages ranging from Rs 10 lakh per annum to Rs 2.5 crore. The university also reported a placement offer of Rs 3 crore for a graduate in an IT company. University further stated that hundreds of LPU students are now working in renowned firms across the US, UK, and Australia, securing packages exceeding Rs 1 crore.

Ashok Kumar Mittal, member of parliament (Rajya Sabha) and founder chancellor of LPU congratulated the students and noted that students from various parts of the country, including Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, are joining LPU. Mittal said, “Let LPU be the luminary in making India a developed country by 2047, as only you can do it—only through the youth of India is it possible.”

LPU highlights past placement success

Reporting previous placement season results, LPU stated, “The previous placement season was equally impressive, with industry giants offering attractive compensation packages.”

The institute recorded the highest package at Rs 54.75 lakh per annum offered by Palo Alto Networks, followed by Nutanix at Rs 53 lakh per annum and Microsoft at Rs 52.20 lakh per annum.

A total of 1,912 multiple job offers were extended, with 377 students receiving three offers, 97 securing four, 18 getting five, and seven students receiving six job offers. Adireddy Vasu, a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) student in electronics and communication engineering, secured seven job offers.
