Download NowNEW DELHI : Maharashtra state education minister, Varsha Gaikwad announced that the Maharashtra Board SSC exam 2021 have been cancelled due to the worsening COVID-19 situation. Earlier, these exams were postponed by the state government. But now, keeping the health and safety of students and teachers on priority, the government has decided to cancel the SSC exam Maharashtra 2021.

She announced on Twitter that the present atmosphere is not conducive for conducting the Maharashtra SSC board exam 2021. After postponing the SSC exam , the education department of Maharashtra requested other boards to reschedule their respective exams and in response to this communication, other boards have cancelled their exams, she added.
Maharashtra SSC exam cancelled
So maintaining the parity among all major board students, the Maharashtra education department has cancelled the Maharashtra board exam 2021 for SSC.
Earlier, the minister announced that the Maharashtra government would study and discuss the CBSE's decision to cancel the class 10 board exams.
Maharashtra SSC criterion 2021 for results
Soon, the board will come up with Maharashtra Board SSC criterion 2021, on the basis of this, SSC exam results will be prepared. The date of Maharashtra SSC result is expected to be announced along with this SSC criterion 2021.
The minister says, “The School Education Dept is committed to devising a "fair and accurate" assessment criterion.”

Along with this, she announced that the status of Maharashtra HSC exam 2021 which remains same. These exams still postponed by the department by the end May of May 2021. The department is closely monitoring the situation in the state and soon, will come up with a decision regarding the Maharashtra board exam 2021.
