Try NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) counselling 2026 schedule for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes soon. Following the pattern, counselling is conducted for candidates who have cleared the NEET UG examination.
The authority will allot seats to candidates based on their All India Rank, choices filled, availability of seats, and reservation rules. Around 1,36,939 seats for the MCC NEET UG counselling 2026 process will be offered by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Before registering for MCC NEET counselling 2026, candidates must check that they:

NEET UG 2026 seat matrix
The MCC will release the NEET UG 2026 seat matrix before the commencement of each counselling round. The seat matrix will include the number of available seats across participating medical and dental colleges under:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ) MBBS and BDS seats
- 100% seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, ESIC, and other central universities
- Deemed universities
- Central universities
- AFMC (through a separate admission process after NEET qualification)
The seat matrix is updated before every round to reflect vacant, newly added, and surrendered seats.
