MCC NEET PG 2024 round 3 choice-filling begins today after cut-off reduction; allotment on January 18

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will commence the choice-filling process for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) round 3 counselling from today, January 12. Interested candidates will be able to complete NEET PG 2024 round 3 choice-filling through the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

The committee has issued NEET PG 2024 revised dates for round 3 after percentile reduction. The NEET PG round 3 counselling registration 2025 deadline has been extended till January 15.

As per the revised schedule, the NEET PG round 3 choice filling window will remain open till January 16. Eligible candidates for admission to PG medical college as per the reduced cut-off percentile will be able to register by January 15.

MCC NEET PG 2024 reduced cut-off percentile

The MCC NEET PG counselling 2024 was paused after the round 2 admission process. The Union ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW) lowered NEET PG cut-off for general category candidates to 15 percentile and for the SC, ST, PwD candidates, the cut-off was reduced to 10 percentile.

The decision was taken to fill up vacant seats in PG medical colleges. Candidates allotted seats in round 3 will have to pay admission fee and complete other admission formalities.

The NEET PG 2024 round 3 seat allotment result will be announced on January 18. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the NEET PG round 3 seat allotment result 2024.

Shortlisted candidates will have to report to the allotted college to confirm their admission. The reporting and joining at the allotted colleges will be from January 18 to 25, 2025.
