NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the provisional seat allotment result for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024. Candidates who have been allotted seats can submit discrepancies, if any, against the provisional result by 12 noon today, March 12.

A total of 558 candidates have been allotted NEET PG institutes in the special round of NEET PG 2024 counselling for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MD, MS, DNB programmes. Of the total; five are under the Armed Forces quota. As per the counselling schedule, seat allotted candidates can report to the allotted institutes between March 13 and 20.
After the closure of the correction window, the provisional allotment will be considered final.
“It is for the information to all candidates that the Provisional Result for Special Stray Vacancy Round for NEET PG Counselling 2024 is now available. Any discrepancy in the result may immediately be informed to MCC of DGHS upto 12:00 (NOON) of 12.03.2025 through email on the Email id: mccresultquery@gmail.com after which the Provisional Result will be treated as ‘Final’,” said MCC in the latest notice.
MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024: Special round
The counselling committee had removed two seats from the seat matrix of the special stray vacancy round, after receiving information from the participating institutes. MCC had notified 733 clear vacancies for this round of counselling.
Eligible participants were required to register afresh for the special round. Those who had been allotted a seat already in the previous years and even those candidates who did not join the seats were rendered ineligible for the new round. The central committee announced the NEET PG special stray vacancy round to fill the vacant seats and accommodate NEET PG aspirants made eligible after further reduction of NEET PG cut-off 2024 to 5th percentile.
