MGU CAT 2024 registration last date extended to May 8; admit card on May 10

NEW DELHI: The Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala has extended the Common Admission Test (MGU CAT 2024) registration last date by two days. Students who are seeking admission into postgraduate programmes including MTech and MBA courses at MG University will have to submit the application form on the official website, cat.mgu.ac.in, by May 8.
Earlier, the MGU CAT application deadline was May 5. However, the last date has been extended now. As per the schedule, the entrance exam will be held on May 17 and 18. The admit card for the exam will be issued on May 10.
Candidates will be allowed to register only one application for a maximum of four different programmes. However, they are required to pay separate application fee for different programmes.
The admission portal for general category, open All India Quota students is cat.mgu.ac.in, for international students quota admission, applicants will have to register at ucica.mgu.ac.in. Additionally, applications for the MBA programme will be accepted through admission.mgu.ac.in.
Candidates belonging to general category will have to pay a registration fees of Rs 1,200 and SC, ST candidates will have to pay Rs 600. International students will have to deposit 100 US Dollars, equivalent Indian rupees on the date of payment.
As per the admission policy, MBA admission at MG University will be based on the score obtained in the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2024)/ IIM Common Admission Test (CAT 2024)/ Kerala Management Aptitude Test (KMAT 2024) and group discussion, interview rounds. The MGU CAT exam results will be declared in the month of June 2024.
