There are more than 120 law colleges in Maharashtra that are participating in MH CET law 2020. These colleges are offering seats in 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated LLB programmes to the candidates who have a valid CET score.
The CET Cell started the MH CET law 2020 Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB from December 09 and December 11, 2020, respectively. Candidates who applied for CAP and later shortlisted through provisional merit list are now eligible for the first round of seat allotment.
However, the authorities had also allowed the candidates to submit their grievances against the provisional merit list. And, the final and improved merit list for MH CET law 5-year LLB will be released on January 18 and for 3-year LLB, on January 19.
Now, the seat allocation list will be prepared on the basis of the following parameters.
Merit rank of the candidate
College preference provided by the candidate
Status of application - Approved or not
Shortlisted candidates will have to report to Law Colleges to confirm first-round admissions. The last date to confirm admission is January 27 for 3-year LLB and January 28 for 5-year LLB. Candidates will have to upload or submit the caste validity certificate at the college. Following this, the law colleges will upload the admitted candidate's status online through their login portal.
Candidates who could not be covered in the first round of allocation list will have the opportunity to participate in the second round which will start from January 29. Such candidates will have to upload their documents and submit the college preference at the MH CET law counselling portal.
The provisional merit list for MH CET law 5-year LLB for the second round will be released on February 9, 2021. And, for 3-year LLB, the list will be released on February 09, 2021. Meanwhile, the final merit lists for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB will be released on February 17 and February 18, respectively.
After seat allocation of the second round, admissions for vacant seats will be conducted. The details of the vacant seat will be available online as well as in the notice board of the colleges in the first week of March 2021.
