MHT CET CAP 2026: State Cell has resolved technical issues on CAP portal in coordination with NTA; Apply for BE and BTech admission process on cetcell.mahacet.org by July 16
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell Maharashtra has announced that the technical difficulties preventing students from uploading their JEE Main scores on the MHT CET Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2026 portal have now been resolved. Eligible students can apply for MHT CET CAP 2026 BE and BTech admission on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, by July 16.

According to the State Cell’s notice, technical difficulties were arising during the retrieval of JEE Main percentile scores due to discrepancies between the names on the JEE scorecards and the names in DigiLocker. However, the technical issues have now been resolved in coordination with the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Earlier, Maharashtra Cell clarified that students applying for MHT CET CAP 2026 BE and BTech counselling under the ‘All India Candidature’ category using JEE Main scores must have their scorecard in DigiLocker.

MHT CET CAP 2026: JEE Main scores via DigiLocker
Students who were facing technical difficulties while retrieving their JEE Main scores can now log in to the CAP Portal, retrieve their percentile scores, and complete the MHT CET counselling 2026 application process.
Moreover, candidates who have already confirmed their CAP application without including their JEE Main scores can unlock their application, fetch their JEE Main scores from DigiLocker , and make the necessary corrections.
For MHT CET CAP counselling 2026, percentile scores from the MHT CET and JEE Main entrance exams are being considered in the admission process.
Candidates who confirmed their application via e-scrutiny must register a grievance to unlock their application. In contrast, those who confirmed their application through physical scrutiny must visit the concerned scrutiny center in person to unlock their MHT CET CAP 2026 application.
MHT CET CAP Counselling 2026 for BE, BTech
As per the revised MHT CET CAP 2026 engineering admission schedule, document verification and confirmation of application forms are to be completed by July 17 till 5 pm. The CAP engineering final merit list will be displayed on July 24. MHT CET CAP counselling fee 2026 for general category candidates is Rs 1,500, while other applicants have to pay Rs 1,000.
