MHT CET counselling 2025 merit list will be provisional; candidates can raise grievances till July 21
The provisional merit list for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2025 will be released tomorrow. Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) admissions in Maharashtra will be conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2025 for both Maharashtra state and all India candidates. MHT CET merit result 2025 can be checked on the official MHT CET website, fe2025.mahacet.org.

The MHT CET 2025 merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam, availability of BE and BTech seats in Maharashtra colleges, and choice-filling done by the candidates. The list will be provisional, and candidates can raise objections against it until July 21. Following the resolution of the objections, the final merit list will be declared on July 24, as per the MHT CET CAP 2025 schedule .
Candidates can raise grievances about the MHT CET 2025 provisional list through the login portal. These candidates will be able to open their application for any changes and alterations. They will have to upload necessary documents to support their claims for any correction or concession. The grievances may be accepted or rejected by the state CET cell, which will be visible on the candidate’s portal. The applicants who selected the physical mode of document verification can visit their facilitation centre for submission of grievances.

MHT CET 2025: Tie-breaking criteria
If two or more candidates have the same scores in the MHT CET exam , the following criteria will be used to break the tie for preparation of the merit list.
- Higher marks in the mathematics section of MHT CET
- Higher marks in the physics section of MHT CET
- Higher marks in the chemistry section of MHT CET
- Higher percentage of marks in the qualifying exam for physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together
- Higher mathematics percentage in Class 12
- Higher physics percentage in Class 12
- Higher aggregate percentage of marks in Class 12
