MHT CET 2021 Result: Normalisation process
The authorities conducted the MHT CET 2021 in multiple shifts and candidates were given different sets of question papers in every shift. The difficulty level of the MHT CET 2021 question papers administered in different shifts may not be exactly the same. Therefore, to overcome such a situation, a normalisation method will be used for ensuring that candidates are neither benefited nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of the examination.
The MHT CET 2021 result will be prepared in the form of raw scores and percentiles scores separately for each of the three subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) and the total.
Next, the percentile scores for the total raw score for all the sessions as calculated using the formula mentioned above will be merged and shall be called the CET scores which will then be used for compilation of MHT CET 2021 results.
