NEW DELHI: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has announced that applications for revaluation, rechecking or photocopy of the CGBSE Class 10, 12 answer key 2025 can be submitted within 15 days from the date of declaration of the CGBSE 10th, 12th result 2025. Students can apply for any one or more of these services through the official website at cgbse.nic.in.

Students can also download the application form from the official website and submit it to their forwarding institution. Students will have to pay a fee of Rs 100 per subject for rechecking, and Rs 500 each per subject for revaluation and photocopy of the CGBSE Class 10, 12 answer sheet 2025.

As per the official notice, students from tribal and Naxal-affected districts such as Bijapur, Jagdalpur, Dantewada, Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Sukma, Balrampur, Rajnandgaon, Khairagarh and Manpur Mohla will receive a 50 percent concession in the revaluation fee. However, this exemption does not apply to rechecking or photocopy services.

CGBSE 10th Result 2025: No marks reduction in revaluation

The board further informed that in the revaluation process, if the new average score assigned by two examiners shows a 10 percent or more increase over the original score, only then will the revised marks be accepted. However, no marks will be reduced. In rechecking, any increase or decrease—even of a single mark—will be considered valid.

“For failed students, if the revaluation leads to an increase of 10% or more in marks in any subject but does not change the overall result, the increase will not be considered valid, and no revised marksheet will be issued,” the notice further said.

As per the official notice, forwarding institutions are required to ensure proper online entry of all applications and correct any errors within the stipulated timeframe. They will receive a service charge of Rs 10 per rechecking application and Rs 20 for revaluation or photocopy applications, with a maximum of Rs 20 if a student applies for multiple services together.
