Ministry of Education extends registration window for Yuva Sangam Phase V till October 25

Students belonging to the age band of 10-30 years are eligible for application. Interested students can apply for the programme through ebsb.aicte-india.org.
NEW DELHI : The Ministry of Education has extended the registration window for cultural exchange programme, Yuva Sangam Phase V till October 25, 2024. Interested students can now apply for the opportunity through the official website at ebsb.aicte-india.org.
The education ministry initiated the programme under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ which facilitates engagement and collaboration among students belonging to 18 to 30 years of age group in India. The programme is now in its fifth phase and has facilitated cross-cultural learning and interaction for 4,795 youth across India through 114 tours, the official statement said.
Students will get exposure to five different fields including - Paryatan (tourism), Parampara (traditions), Pragati (development), Paraspar Sampark (people-to-people connect), and Prodyogiki (technology).
Young professionals (employed or self-employed), students including NSS, and NYKS volunteers, and off-campus students are encouraged to apply for this programme.

Yuva Sangam student exchange programme
Yuva Sangam programme is supported by several other central ministries and departments and takes participants on an immersive tour to paired states to experience local history, culture, and traditions and gain a deep understanding of the country’s diversity. The previous cultural exchange programme was a massive success.
“The response to Phase-V of Yuva Sangam has been truly encouraging. The window for registration which was earlier slated to close on October 21, 2024, has now been extended till October 25, 2024,” said a senior officer of the Ministry of Education.
Twenty eminent institutions across India have been identified for phase V of Yuva Sangam during which participants from various states, and UTs, led by the nodal higher education institute (HEI) of the state, UT, respectively, will be visiting their paired state, UTs, official note added.
